Choosing a wedding list and its contents is tremendously difficult and made more so by the fact that many couples tend to have many of the traditional constituents already.
What The Wine Wedding List offers is an alternative to the “pots & pans” and “cutlery & crockery”. A couple will start their married life with the benefit of a wine cellar tailored to their specific wishes.
Our aim is to offer both the present giver and receiver a wide array of wines satisfying both their taste and price demands.
- The essence of The Wine Wedding List is to put forward an established and well-chosen selection of quality wines, which can be tailored to suit the specific or particular tastes of the engaged couple.
- We hope to help begin the process of building a wine cellar which will be enjoyed for many years to come, whilst also providing a substantial long-term investment asset.
- An additional benefit of our service is the personal nature of the gifts. Whether giving a bottle or a case of wine, each bottle will be hand-labelled with the name of the giver – meaning whenever the individual bottles are drunk the couple will know exactly whose generosity they are enjoying.
- Where possible we give the guests the opportunity to buy the wine by the individual bottle, by the case or even as mixed cases. Pre-delivery, the wine list is discussed with the couple to provide any additional advice that either party might require – this also gives them the ability to further blend the portfolio as required.
- The Wine Wedding List comes under the umbrella of Edward Parker Wines Limited. It is an established independent wine merchant based in Battersea in London and Norfolk. Established in 2003, its focus is on private individuals on a very personal level. Our wines are hand picked with the advice of our wine consultant Derek Smedley MW and are characterised as coming from small producers with a passion for what they do.
